Privacy policy

This policy explains what information VPSLake ("we") collects through CafeSeva, why, and how it is protected.

1. Your customers' photos and documents

The tools run inside your web browser. Photos and PDFs you open in CafeSeva are processed on your own computer and are not uploaded to our servers. We never see, store or share them. The AI model used for background removal is downloaded once and kept in your browser.

2. Information we collect

• Account details you give when buying: owner name, cafe / shop name, email, WhatsApp number, city and state, and your password (stored only in encrypted, hashed form).
• Payment details from Razorpay: order and payment IDs, amount, payment method type and status. Card, UPI and bank details are handled by Razorpay and never reach us.
• Usage data: which tools your account opened and when (to show "Recently used"), log-in times, IP address and browser type, kept for security and support.

3. How we use it

• to create and run your account and give you access to the tools;
• to process payments, refunds and send receipts;
• to send important messages such as password resets, payment receipts and service updates by email or WhatsApp;
• to answer support requests and keep the Service secure.

We do not sell or rent your personal data, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

4. Sharing

We share data only with providers that help us run the Service: Razorpay (payments), our hosting provider (servers in India and abroad), and our email delivery provider — and with authorities when the law requires it.

5. Cookies

We use only necessary cookies: a session cookie to keep you logged in and a security (CSRF) cookie. Your browser's local storage keeps tool settings and the downloaded AI model. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

6. Data retention

We keep account and payment records while your account is active and as long as tax and accounting laws require. You can ask us to delete your account at any time; we will delete or anonymise your data except records we must keep by law.

7. Security

The site uses HTTPS, passwords are hashed, and access to our servers is restricted. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong password.

8. Your rights

You can see, correct or delete your personal data by updating your profile or emailing us. Grievances can be sent to [email protected]; we respond within 30 days.

9. Changes

We may update this policy and will show the new date above.
